I love talking about FOOD! Food is fun…it doesn’t have emotions…it can’t talk back to you…it brings people together…it makes people HAPPY…and when you have friends and family who love to cook for you, well hot damn you have it made. I am fortunate enough that my friends and family are not only amazing chefs, but they are constantly keeping my active lifestyle fueled and keeping my belly very very very happy…all the happy vibes in today’s post. So let’s take a look at what I have been devouring and what has been keeping me fueled during my 1/2 marathon training, but also just life in general.

My appetite has been wildly ravenous, but it is obviously due to all the running, walking, and never really slowing down. And I’m happy to have a metabolism that is going going going and moving all the things, because after years of being plugged up and not fueling enough, this new era is quite divine. I am eating a lot of the same things, but eating more of the things that I haven’t eaten in years…pastas, olive oil, bread, desserts, and anything and everything that has been put in front of me. Like I said, my family and friends are keeping my appetite in check with whatever they want to feed me. It is a beautiful thing!

I eat a peanut butter, fruit, and yogurt bowl at least twice a week. I am soaking up the last bit of peaches and blueberries, before we transition into a new season of pears and apples. It is so easy and ready in minutes and it is a nice way to curb my sweet tooth cravings and when I’m having a peanut butter craving. No shame in the size spoonfuls I used. So GOOD!

My appetite has changed a lot in the past couple of months. A lot of it is due to the change in seasons, releasing a lot of toxicity emotionally and mentally, upping my training

I can’t remember the last time I had savory oats and the thought of honestly eating them, makes me gag, so I have moved on to big ass salads with sourdough toast. Tuna salad, chicken salad, roast beef, turkey, leftovers, whatever it is, I put it in a bowl and top it with all the greens, tomatoes, onions, carrots, peppers, and spoonfuls of guacamole. I like to top my salads with red pepper flakes, balsamic, and hot sauce. Sometimes for the toast, I like to do a combo of guacamole and jelly. It is a weird combo, but that sweet and salty is DELISH!

As for other eats…Here are some delicious ones made by friends and family…ENJOY!
